now if she was talking about mercury, then you still have about 2 years.

And why is the pebbles a factor in the devil's profit... unless she counts as a wasted expenditure he made while showing off.

Maybe not necessarily a factor in the losses, but why wouldn't the Devil try to exploit anything and everything at all for gain, especially when there's already a connection to him?

If I remember my Bible studies right, unless you actively choose to be saved and truly mean it, when you die, your soul automatically becomes the Devil's property.
Therefore the only way his profits are going down is that 1/ less people are dying or 2/ more people choose to be saved.

It really depends on the sect of Christianity in question.

Because unless the Big D is currently playing evil mastermind and running somesort of long game with pebbles, I doubt that she'd do much of anything that he would find useful... unless he had a monopoly on her favorite video games... or expecting to use her in someway to get to Lily...

What I get from this is that the "machine" still has an irrational, emotional mind behind it. To focus too much on the machine is to ignore the very human/animal intention motivating its activity. Yes, these machines are awesome and efficient and can fly, but they're controlled by a man who unironically encourages grown women to "Jiggle, jiggle."

I cannot speak for the Lutherans but my childhood religious background was Seventh Day Adventist (I'm now agnostic), well anyway according to how I was taught, unless you accepted Christ's sacrifice, you will be lost forever.

At least you don't have to worry about burning alive forever and ever in Hell if it turned out the SDAs were right, they believe that in the 2nd resurrection, God will more or less hit all of the resurrected Lost with something equivient to Ghost Rider's Penance Stare before destroying them by turning the earth into a lake of molten magma.

Religion is fun. Razz

Yeah, I've never heard that doctrine at all before. I was raised Catholic.
