I had a similar problem in my occupations. Heavy government-grade level background checks would lead to hilarious misinterpretations of my background. I would be read out of context in the same way that the historical pagan Christian named Hitler read John 7:1 completely out of context. I had to explain this at a creationist museum in Santee and they refused to believe me despite holding a bible in my hand and reading the scripture out loud. That's not the only embarassing scripture that is misinterpreted so badly that it leads to many unnecessary deaths.
