Which panel do you guys think is a Gail Simone reference? I don't know much about Gail Simone.

I'm all for her joining up with Abby and Monique to make an awesome girl-power trio of doom Very Happy

Though with the way things have been going between those two, Blue might wind up the awkward third wheel again... But regardless, I think they'd both be good for her if she could manage to let them in.

I don't see Absinthe as dooming anyone. At least, not intentionally. She's too nice. Pebbles, maybe, but not Abby.

Blue seems to have no time set aside for leisure or innocuous diversion. Such a routine might conceivably drive one a little mad.

Tormenting the souls of the damned could be seen as a diversion of sorts. Not an innocuous diversion, but a diversion.

Good thing I can't draw, otherwise I'd totally draw them all as Powerpuff Girls.

The middle one looks like it says 'dad' across the face. I take that as a really witty commentary that I'm not going to expound on, because really it speaks for itself. Job well done!

And I say relationship because the way Blue is dealing with the situation seems more like how people deal with their ex's that they still have strong feelings for. Fuchsia on the other hand... actually I don't recall her missing Blue although a comic probably did touch on it.... so yea Fuchsia has definitely moved on. Blues just a friend to her, while Fuchsia is close to Blue's heart, I don't think she noticed how close it was.

While they definitely played up how... affectionate... they were towards each other while trying to tempt Slick, it may not have all been acting, at least on Blue's part.

Also, really sad comics about Blue, especially sunday ones, tend to make me think of the Dylan song, "It's all over now, Baby Blue."
