Scaring the crap out of people for the past two nights at my work's annual haunted house. My voice is gone, but it was a lot of fun. I scared someone so bad last night they yelled, "Oh, hell no!" and ran back out the front door as fast as they could. No money back. Wink

Thats awesome Smile

Raised $200 for an event called Barbells for Boobs. The organization provides free mammograms for men and women to catch breast cancer early. Today we have our event and I am super excited! Rocking pink knee high socks, yoga pants, pink headband and pigtails and of course an event shirt. All pinked out to save the tatas!

30 clean and jerks for time... Here I come!

My European adventure was awesome. Denmark is amazing. I loved the transit and the bicycles everywhere, plus it was sunny almost the whole time, which is apparently pretty uncommon. And while I would like to live there, I don't know if I could ever wrap my head around Danish... I am only saddened I couldn't make it to Aarhus to meet Mr. Moustache.

We have lots of chocolate and cheese. Mmm.

Got my new schedule at work; I am working static shifts now instead of rotating shift work, yay! And it's 17:00 - 03:00, which a) suits my nocturnal tendencies, and b) means the possibility of lots of overtime. It's especially neat because most people don't get static shifts until usually 4 or 5 years, and I'm only at 1.5.

So life is good!

I saw "We Will Rock You" Saturday night.

The highlight of the show for me was the female lead, Ruby Lewis, nailing some notes in "Somebody to Love" like Freddie would have. Who am I kidding, when she held that note people stood up for applause.

The rest of the show was fun too. Silly, but fun. and good. Very good.

One small negative, Brian May was apparently in the show earlier in the week, but didn't make ours. I know the exact part he was supposed to be in because I was talking to my dad about how awesome it would have been had he been there and someone said he was earlier.

3 years ago, my favorite noodles were removed from the stores because they didn't sell well enough. Much sad was had.

Today I found them again. I was so happy, I bought a whole box.

My daughter told me she wants to learn her letters so she can write a story for her friends at school. This is both the most words she's ever used in a sentence and the first time she was really interested in working on her letters. She did 4 ABCMouse lessons in a row and then practiced her name. She still cant write the letters but she is trying really hard. Because she wants to make her friends a story.

I played at an open stage show tonight and did a three song set. After the set, I was approached by a booking agent who wants to book me for a show in a nearby town. No details worked out yet, just basically exchange of info...

Holy crap.
