Death is sort of an incompetent assassin. I like it.

Death always gets the job done eventually, though.

I wouldn't call Death incompetent based on today's events. Partly because that's the sort of unpredictable event that would spoil the aim of even the most competent and professional assassin... but mostly because there's a chance he'd hear, and turn round and decide that the best way to prove me wrong would be to decide that my time was up...

It's the streetlight that was BOMFed by Pebbles over a week ago.

That is some messed-up foreshadowing; no friggin' way can anybody say they saw this coming.

I feel like 2013 is my macbook as I transition over to a new PC.

I still adore my macbook and will not be getting rid of it, it's just getting too old: I fear for over five year old harddrive I can't upgrade yet.

Well, he also spent his rifle's full capacity trying, and failing to shoot MMXIII as he was rolling down a hill.

And there was the thing with the texting and flying a while back.

Not so much foreshadowing as it is an example of Chekhov's gun.

A previously unimportant element coming back at a later time in the narrative to become important, reinforcing the idea that all elements in the narrative are significant, irregardless of how insignificant they may seem at first. Given the nature of Sinfest and the amount of symbolism that is used, it's generally a good idea to assume that even minute details will play an important part or represent a significant idea in the narrative.

OK, I'll accept that. Just one quibble: "Irregardless?" Really? Really.
