Tat reads the forums.

I would be mildly impressed if he deliberately worked those ideas in at that sort of notice. Then again, I think the show-their-absence idea was fairly predictable and something any Great Cartoonist could have come up with independently. The getting-Abby-better-shoes thing looks more like some inspiration being taken from the forums.

On the main point, I can't help but totally agree. SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...

So let me see if I get this straight:

In the Women Only Zone, the pegasi provide frolicking entertainment for 'Nique and Abby.

In Paradise, they blow Fuchsia off.

Do I have that right?

They're not in the Women Only Space by the time they're watching the pegasi. Most likely, they're at the tree where Pebbles showed Nique the pegasi. As for the pegasi blowing Fuchsia off, she wanted to study them for afar for her art but was approached by a baby, whose mother came to usher it's baby away from a stranger in their territory. There was no real "blowing off" going on. Pebbles, Monique and Absinthe were not in their territory, nor anywhere near their offspring and thus of non-concern. no So, no. I would say that you do not really have it right.

Oh, yes, the actual strip is very good too. Embarassed Just saying, you know, hunky Jesus, hunky dungeon guy, blush.

(Actually, I really do love Seymour's new direction with all this. Before, he was really much more of a self-righteous prat, but I think he got hit with Cupid's arrow (?) and genuinely fell in love with Jesus, and while he still seems to struggle with the homoeroticism of it all, I think he's become a much more genuine and human person ever since. (Of course, it doesn't hurt that that's ... actually, part of my own approach to Jesus, minus Voltron.)

Apart from all of that digression, gorgeous strip, wonderful moments, etc. These Sunday strips are just plain amazing!! <3 <3 <3

Another interesting bit I see justaposing Seymour, Devil-Dungeon-Guy, and them going off to the woodsy place and watching pegasi and just enjoying the day, from Thomas the Rhymer...

'O see ye not yon narrow road,
So thick beset wi' thorns and briers?
That is the Path of Righteousness,
Though after it but few inquires.

'And see ye not yon braid, braid road,
That lies across the lily leven?
That is the Path of Wickedness,
Though some call it the Road to Heaven.

'And see ye not yon bonny road
That winds about the fernie brae?
That is the Road to fair Elfland,
Where thou and I this night maun gae. ...

This comic is so happy and so damn beautiful it made me post a comment after many, many months of abstinence.

Tat, thankyou for this, thankyou. ;_;

I love how different their expressions are in the bubble-wrap panel: 'Nique is really going after those little bubbles with a vengeance (maybe she's thinking about the cat-callers at the construction site) whilst Abby is just peacefully absorbed in the activity. I think Abby would be hard pressed to work up any real resentment or anger towards anyone, like how she has to work to summon up unpleasant thoughts for the detector in the mansion.

I think what Monique's playing hookey from is worrying about public opinion. Which admittedly is a really stupid, really annoying thing to deal with, especially on her scale.

This comic is the most gleeful of glee.

Wow, knowledge. I did not remember any of that.

I'm just not sure why the Women Only Zone is the first place they run into. Is this comic really trying to say that you are constantly under harassment from males if you don't somehow restrict them from following you and crawling all over you like the hands from the hell-holes?
