I wonder what her reaction is in the last panel. |

I suspect Tange is short for Tangerine. _________________ "No, but evil is still being --Is having reason-- Being reasonable! Mousie understands? Is always being reason. Is punishing world for not being... Like in head. Is always reason. World should be different, is reason."

I love how she looks like a doll next to the dollhouse. Powerful. |

I'm really glad that we finally have an answer. What I really like is that she chose a new name for herself before transforming.
I like that the names are similar too.
Very satisfying answer, in my opinion. |

It's been a strange three years. She may be Tange now, but...I kind of like Angie. Which - being the short form of Angela, Angelica, etc. - is something that I want to call ironic even though it probably isn't. _________________

I'd actually got a bit attached to calling her "Pebbles". Oh well, Tange it is. Lil'E and Tange. Aww, it still sounds cute.
Thing I just noticed, it's interesting that the doll house is red when the overall theme of her flashback is orange, considering that both the devil and Lil'E's theme is red. |

Awwwwwwww. I like Tange as a name. Particularly because it's one that she seems to have chosen for herself. |

Yay Tange! So she never was a farmer's girl (I could be wrong), she just dressed like one. |

What Nique said was that she perceived Tange to be as sweet, innocent country gal. There is nothing in this strip to suggest she is not any of the above.
Also I'm pretty sure that based on the fact the strip is titled Tangerine, she likely decided that her new full name is Tangerine, but Tange for short. Similar to how Absinthe is Abby, and Fuchsia is Fyoosh... and how her previous name, Angie, is short for Angela. _________________ Character Chart | Terminology Dictionary | Flashback Strips |

My thoughts exactly. I'd prefer to call her Pebbles over Tange, but Tangerine has a nice sound to it. |

Hahahaha as if 90% of the work world isn't basically people playing house with other people's money.
"The CEO sits in this chair. The code monkey sits in that chair over there."
Anything that's excessively socially oriented is people "playing house."
P.S. Do they even have toys where people just play house anymore?
P.P.S. It's becoming increasingly clear that the Big D has a sublimated desire for domestic bliss that motivates his means of doing business, that is creating an artificial home life in which the woman is easily moved around by things like money and computer code. That's why the Sisterhood is his arch-nemesis, because they represent the biggest counterpoint to his vision of how things should be. |
