I don't remember how I found this restroom in the first place. I ran on instinct, turning corners down hallways that would have forgotten what a mop looked like long ago were there not several gathered lazily in the corner, moldy and under just as much dust as everything else. I thought I had found a refuge, a place to catch my breath, let my guard down...

The walls themselves seemed to whisper ancient gossip and dirty limericks. I looked around to see if someone else was here with me. Several of the stall doors were missing and although I could clearly see into each stall, I was still far from assured of my solitude. I looked to the mirror behind the sinks for another perspective.

Bags under my eyes reminded me of how long it'd been since I had gotten any sleep, and my hair, well... it'd looked worse. I let out a sigh of relief. No one else could possibly look exactly like I feel. I stepped back from the sink and turned toward the door. I managed to take one step before I noticed the figure with well coiffed hair standing where my reflection ought to be in the mirror on the wall.

Hahaha, that's awesome.

Way better than "I was holding the door so my friend could pee because there were only 3 working stalls and none of them had a latch that would close properly."

I tried saying directly what the picture felt like to me and it just seemed inadequate, so the words kept multiplying. It was fun and I'm glad it was appreciated.

That bathroom is one poorly-ballasted, flickery fluorescent light away from being in a grindhouse horror film.

And quite frankly, that's pretty badass.

Also, the mirror acts as a very nice frame without taking away too much from the surroundings. Cool pic.

I love the color scheme in that photo. I agree with Mouse, that should be exhibited somewhere.

Very Happy Now if only I can convince my tall friend to cosplay Tange and get someone to take photos of us then everything will be right in the world.

Dunno what to do about my hair though, I tried brushing it to the centre and it just looked stupid. Close enough, maybe?

But yeah if I was going to do it properly I'd need to get/make horns and paint myself light red.

it actually looks remarkably like my hair did when I was 20 or so, huh!

though since then my hair got more unimaginitively unruly and likes to mane out like my father's hair does.

me and my hair, we are not... friends in the traditional sense of the word. we don't get along.

cool! now you just need some hairgel to get that lacquered-down look (if you are going for old-school li'l e)...and of course, horns.

I'm more going for recent Lil'E, old school one basically had a buzz cut with a widow's peak which I most certainly am not getting (and I don't have a widow's peak anyway). Recent Lil'E has a far less severe haircut, I think. I didn't put anything in it because I was just bumming around my house and not actually purposefully cosplaying haha. And I know, I do need to make horns.

Haha! Nice :-)

On a mildly related note: I met a guy called Ennis at a festival a few weeks back. He ended up accidentally kicking my friend in the balls but we all got a good laugh out of it and an excellent video

Not something you'll feel overjoyed about, I'm guessing, but now that image will be stuck in my head everytime I see your name on the forum :p

Fantastic cosplay! (I tried to like it... oddly enough the forum didn't have a FB/IG like button)
