Those boxes must be bottom heavy or else they would never balance on a forklift without a skid. From a packaging and shipping perspective it would have made a lot more sense to pack the fembots laying down, coffin-style. They could have packed in a lot more cargo that way. Stacked 1 deep, 3 wide, and 5 high you could fit about 15 fembots on a single skid that way.

I get from an artistic perspective the standing position makes more sense, but I actually work in a shipping warehouse so it bugs me anyway.

I know it's not even slightly the point but... they sell pink devil laptops? Are they another unnecessarily gendered product?

Also, what do those pitchforks even do? I've never seen anyone using them as an actual weapon (the ones Fuschia and Blue used were pointier, I'm fairly sure) and what use would one have with them when guns and swords are clearly fairly easily acquirable?

Those are either the nerf pitchforks, which Fyoosh asked Blue to switch to once, or they're the Wii pitchforks that Li'l E has. Either way, they're for play and not meant to actually harm.

Oh yeah, that's right. Would help if it were next to the other Wii attachments we've seen in the strips >_>

OK, so... two out of the boxes, one still hiding.

I get the bad feeling that the two weaponised fembots out of the boxes are going to get captured/killed, which would be a terrible message to send - that you survive by blending in, playing along with the system, *letting* yourself be bought and sold as something to be controlled...

Anyway. I also get the feeling that despite the "Devil Tech Headquarters 53" title, we're back to jumping around between plotlines each day. I mean OK, they're stronger plotlines that seem to be going places, but still... the feeling of continuity is slowly evaporating.

If you read the comic backwards, it's about the fembots (that weren't stuck on the floor) escaping the facility through the delivery truck.

They found torn boxes and restored them to hide in.

..does that work?

If Slick buys that particular Fembot, we come full circle.

Unless, of course, he starts deliberately buying Fembots and taking them to the Reality Zone.
In the hope that one would actually CHOOSE to stay with him - of her own free will.

For Slick, that would be character development.

I think Slick is probably too afraid of Fembots now to buy one.

I feel like Seymour might buy that game to satisfy his Jesus fetish BDSM style.
