Oh, heavens, the household is overfull of felines already. Must you tempt me sorely with a glittery kitten? I haven't any glittery kittens in the menagerie yet. Calico, marmalade, tabby, tuxedo, and tortoiseshell, yes, but no diamond-encrusted glitter-kits.

Perhaps if I call in the remodelers and have them add another wing...

You will take it and like it, dangit! These things ain't cheap, y'know!

The shading on this is really beautiful. It's so detailed. It's amazing how Mr. Ishida produces a comic of this kind of visual quality every 24 hours. Every other webcomic I follow is either stick figures or infrequently updated, usually both.

That is correct, so no prize for me.

In line with the above comments, my first reaction was also "FOR FUCK'S SAKE TAT FOUR PANELS DEDICATED TO BLUE ENTERING A BUILDING"

If he utilised panels economically we'd already by up to the confrontation by now.

This comic is going to be much better to (re)read when it's all compiled in a book and so strips like this are just "huh" then move on, rather than the torturous day we have to wait in real time.

I think it serves to reinforce that she's not in her normal mindset. I think she's been shaken somewhat by the painting she saw.

The painting? And not, you know, the horrific treatment and experiences of fembots as seen from Pxsomethingsomething's perspective, including her suicide attempt?

There are an awful lot of things sort of shaking Blue at the moment.

i'm interested in the fact that apparently, even with all of that, she has to concentrate on bad thoughts. i would think she would have plenty of bad thoughts already....so do they have to be specific thoughts for specific people? abby's brain would melt if she had blue's current thoughts - but abby-level "badness" is not enough for blue? does this doorway force people into thinking worse things than they would, normally - thus pushing them to greater and greater evilness?

I would surmise it's just force of habit.
