Abby and 'Nique doing Nice Things are adorable. Particularly the way they're holding hands in the last panel.

Interesting that the statue still has the wings.

And Blue cuddling up to her fork is kind of cute too - lots of ways it could go, though, with Abby now knowing about Blue's softer side, or Blue's boss-mode being an act or something.

Also, the sun seems to rise, just as Abby and 'Nique do their Nice Thing for Blue. Colours seem to shift from blues/whites to a nice golden glow. Symbolically important for Blue's future path in life?

I'm confused on the time. I was thinking it must be evening, because Blue was getting off from work, but that assumes she wanted coffee after work, which is a little odd. So, what I'm saying is, I thought it was evening and I was going to say your post was weird, but then I thought about it and I think my post was weird. So there.

I'm pretty sure it's morning. Abby and 'Nique were asleep when Blue came back, obviously late.

And I think we're both weird, if that helps. ;-D

'Em aren't pitchforks, 'em are tridents. Great for boar hunting. Every pitchfork I ever used had four tines, not three.

No no, I think you're right. I imagine she came home after a long night and wanted coffee to stay up through another work day, then crashed instead. Makes more sense than coffee at sundown.

Of course, there isn't a clock anywhere in the house to tell you.

How nice for you. I'm a total twat, but you don't see me blaring it about for all to see.

Oh wait..

Nevermind. I just remembered a very important appointment.

3 tined pitchforks:

And a discussion on the different number of tines on pitchforks currently and throughout history, and what they are used for:

According to Wikipedia, they typically have two to four tines:

Still seems an opportune time for the boss to walk in, for maximum drama and damage. For Blue's sake I hope I'm wrong. But that statue looks like foreshadowing.

The statue - you picked it!
Picked it like a snotty nose, as we used to say.

[Edit] Monique seems to be considering a nose dildo in frame 12...
