|
|
Good afternoon! I am going to be presenting a simple and clear tutorial on how to get one of those nifty pictures next to your nickname. Namely, how to get an av on the sinfest forum to work!
#1. Select an image. Preferably close to the size mentioned in the restrictions under your profile link, but, it's not necessary.
#2. Upload said image to imageshack or some other host on the internet.
#3. On imageshack, copy the last listed link, which is the one that says, "Link Directly to this Image." If you are using another host, make sure the link is to the image itself, and not the webpage hosting it.
#4. Go into your profile. See below.
In the box for the option highlighted, paste the link for your image.
#5. Submit!
Congratulations! You should now have your very own personalized av! _________________ A person's character is their destiny. |

Yes, but how do I get it to work? Do I use a whip, or something? And does it need a green card or SS#?

Well, a whip might help some. _________________ A person's character is their destiny. |

I used a cattle prod.
Seems successful... so far. _________________ Rock-N-Roll Soul Saver |

It's not probable. But who knows? Maybe Tat will find it useful to sticky the thread. _________________ A person's character is their destiny. |

But... How do I get everyone else's avatars to work?
After reading the forums for a few months, and posting for several weeks on my own computer, I was shocked when I went to a public comp. and found that many of the avatars are animated!!! I only see boring, unmoving, images from my computer...
I'm sure I've left a vital box unchecked somewhere, but I don't know which one... |

And you wouldn't BELIEVE some of the things you have to keep a straight face for, either. _________________ A person's character is their destiny. |
