| It reminds me of Pink Floyd's album. Cos that was all about the wall that people put up around themselves to hide from the problems of life. And how it ended up driving Syd Barrett insane, with drugs as a catalyst. |

Wasn't that how Buddha got started, he was a sheltered prince and one day he decided to go outside, where he saw the real world, deciding at the moment to basically become the Buddha.

Yup, one day in a parade he saw an elderly sick man. That started his journey.
There is a "I need a bigger fort" Criminy strip, last he tried to get out of the closet. I like his attempt to get rid of the stuff, but he is obviously doing it the wrong way , all he had to do was to read a koan or two.
I guess this'll be for next strip. _________________ Meu aerobarca esta cheoi de enguias |

Far from it. He's quoting Ronald Reagan. |

Aww. li'le Crimmy's rebelling against his present reality of being frustrated with being a super nerd. He wants a life!
What a silly head.
Ten bucks says he ends up going to jail for spray painting a bunch of cars at a SUV dealership.
That, or finds religion.
On a similar topic, has anyone ever read Rimbaud? O-0? _________________ I was much happier when I thought Christianity meant simply being nice. |

Squig "quit" the drugs, then went all "moderate."
Maybe Criminy will "quit" the books, then decide that the other extreme isn't what's right either and decide on cutting back to only three or four tomes per day? |

Are we trying to make all of them follow The Middle Way?
'Sides, I think you expect too much of Criminy. His book shelter is far too small for him to have read more than one tome a week for a past year (and even that may be generous). He already has cut back more than any man should have to. |

| Those are all probably just what he took out of the library for the week. Maybe even for the day. |
