I have been reading Sinfest on and off for several years now, and I have now begun to download each image onto my computer. I just finished, minutes ago, archiving the year 2000, and I suddenly realized that this whole process would take way too long by myself. I was wondering if anyone else had done this, or if others would be interested in doing other years and maybe posting them to download all at once. After all, you could read them all online if you wanted too, and all the images have the logo and Tatsuya Ishida written right on them. Anyway, if anyone wants the year 2000 in comics (as a .zip file) or would be interested in helping me with the other years, feel free to say so. Or, if you must, harshly tell me that I have in some way violated the copyright.

well, i don't know about copyright or things like that(even though i think it doesn't violate anything because it's free) there is a easier way of downloading all the comics

you probably "saved as" all the time, right?
Well, instead of that(and instead of using a programm) just delete all of the pictures in your "temporary internet files" folder and then go through the archive, without saving anything. After your finished, just copy all the pictures from the temp folder
still a little bothering, but way easier

Now I wonder what I'll do if the Gif format becomes obsolete. Or when resolution improves so much that the last known scan of the strips looks bad in comparison!

Well, eyes haven't had a resolution update in a while. Perhaps an upgrade is in the works but I didn't invest in it so the paper versions should be good for a while.

Fiona, a question about the books. Are all the comics included, with all the caligraphy and such or are some left out ?

As far as I know they have all of the comics. I can't say I have done a physical page to site page comparison.

Don't get me wrong, because I do want to buy the books, but if I want to show my friend a particular comic, I'm not gonna page through three books, hoping to remember where it is. Unfortunately, theres no Ctrl+F in real life. And the temporary thing wont work because all the images are titled "untitled" when it comes up in that folder. Anyway, year one is still here if anyone wants it g-mailed to them. Its only 10 mb when compressed into .rar.
