um, lessee, this is my thread, so i'm going to bitch about wmv files. GAAAAAHHHHH! NO FREE EDITING FOR THEM. have to transcode into avi and then edit on imovie.
this is why i'm posting every 1.5 seconds. because i have nothing better to do than transcode. and plus imovie takes roughly 8 billion years to import a 5 minute file.
i have a presentation due on saturday. for 10% of my grade.

I use Sony Vegas for my video editing.
I think it can import WMV, not sure really.
It doesn't take very long to import any video.
I tried Pinnacle once, it took 90 miuntes to import a 55 second MOV file. that was the first and last time I used it.
I know that Vegas can edit MPEG quite well. Many people said it is the best application for doing MPEG (although not the preferred format).
