Details are awesome as usual. The hearts on the clock, "Love" bodywash soap, Slick's tie going crunkled.

;_;

I oddly think I'm in a bit of a situation like this, though, I think it's progressively getting a bit better, considering she just sort of randomly asked me if I'd take her to her prom sometime in May, and in turn I have her accompanying me to mine in April.

But a dance is but a dance, I'm hoping it actually does end up somewhere -.-

Wow... I've done exactly what Slick just did about...

Maybe Tat really can read minds.

Touching.

Tat seems to have the Shakespeare knack.

This raises a good question, does Slick really have eyes?

Or does he navigate through an as-of-yet undiscovered extrasensory perception?

When Monique says "Like my heart is opening up...", her heart-imprinted backpack is standing open on the table. Wonderful, wonderful.

Not to sound sarcastic or bitter, but "Yes, reminding us all of the everyday heartbreaks we put ourselves through is very sweet."

Maybe Tat had a similar situation? :| Great comic, but it takes me down, too.

It wasn't really blatant, we all just stuck the obvious in there. ... Yeah, see? He doesn't say 'love' at any point in there. He says "how I feel", which could be damned near anything 'I feel pain, I stubbed my toe this morning..'
'Bare my soul to her' could totally be made into innuendo
'Courage!' is the hope to not get slapped, whatever it is he means to say
The rest is simple nervous failure and frustration with that failure.
Toootally not blatant.

.. heheh, okay so it was pretty clear what the meaning in the strip was, but still, I wouldn't call it 'stated blatantly'.
