There is nothing as complete as Flash for digital animation. Nothing even comes close.
That said, Wikipedia says there are many 2D animation software products out there. |

Yeah, but Flash also cost a few hundred dollars I don't have and can't afford. I was looking more for a personal recommendation as in "I've used ________, ________, and _______. While none are as good as Flash, ________ does a fairly decent job, while ________ is ok. Don't touch ________ with a ten foot pole."
I'm looking to make a game BTW, or at least a prototype that will look good in a video. _________________

Why do people get drunk and then complain about being hung over? And then keep doing that? _________________ butts |

There are probably a lot of answers to that question, depending on the reason a person has for drinking. For me, it's because getting drunk with the right people and in the right circumstances is fun, and hangovers are not. So that's pretty much the answer to both questions. _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. | If you are getting hung over you never bothered to calculate the appropriate amount of alcohol your body can handle. |

"Handle" is a fairly vague term. I can handle a lot of alcohol in the sense that I can drink it and survive the experience. I can handle significantly less if I choose to avoid a hangover without hydrating. There's an amount between that I can handle if I choose to keep up on hydration.
But, sometimes avoiding a hangover isn't the primary concern. _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. I’ll do anything to protect them from hurt, the human race is what I serve." - Baba Brinkman |

Man, hangovers are the best thing ever. They make you care approximately 0 about your worldly concerns, just make you lie in bed, realize your alive, and then get on with it. Every one is a moment for reflection. _________________ When life gives you lemons, some people make lemonade. I just eat them and make a sour face. |

I don't drink much, but I know the point where I would get hungover is usually the point where getting drunker wouldn't be very pleasant to me anyways.
I only have two datapoints here, but both times I've gotten a hangover the booze made me feel kind of ill shortly after drinking it and the hangover was actually less unpleasant than that, headaches and all.
and there were other times that I could kind of tell that I was at that point and I just stopped drinking
also wow I don't think I've even had so much as a glass of wine in months
I have a bottle in the cupboard, I just never felt like opening it
also there's some Irish cream which is pretty much my favorite
but meh
alcoholism doesn't seem to be on the horizon for me, I guess _________________ butts

Totally relevant. Every time I meet someone who says they never get hangovers I know how old they are... and they always think they have some magical power. As I turn 30 I find I don't handle it as well as I used to, not so much the headaches as the GI upset. I drink less now because if I get wasted on Saturday I'll still have a gurgley stomach at work on Monday, and that's just not worth it. _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. I never get hangovers. Never have. Hasn't gotten any worse with age, either.
I wonder if it would change if I started drinking... |
