I'm terribly biased for color, so I didn't choose any of the monochrome or just blue/white pictures.

I liked 4 of them but my absolute fave because it caught my eye so fast was Mount Baker Reflection.

Thanks! Now I just need 1,033 more responses and I should be able to get some good statistics and pick which one I'd like best. Okay... subject #2?

Agreeing with Yinello, that one was the one that stood out. I'm biased for fantasy though and it ticked my need for green stuff and stories.

I'm also casting my ballot for Mount Baker Reflection.

n=5, I have no doubt that you now have enough data to start drawing inferences (perhaps even conclusions!)

It can work, but remember you have to work with that person if the relationship goes sour. Can the both of you handle that?

I met my wife at work 13 years ago. She worked at the convenience store at the truck stop, I worked at the repair counter.

Totally relevant. Every time I meet someone who says they never get hangovers I know how old they are... and they always think they have some magical power. As I turn 30 I find I don't handle it as well as I used to, not so much the headaches as the GI upset. I drink less now because if I get wasted on Saturday I'll still have a gurgley stomach at work on Monday, and that's just not worth it.

never had a hangover until after i turned 28 and now i get one every damned time. that combined with the fact that i drink significantly more now....well, you'd think that it would make me not drink anymore but life sucks sometimes and being drunk is amazing.

I like this one the best.
http://fineartamerica.com/featured/picture-lake-priya-ghose.html

This one has an austere beauty to it that speaks to the solitude of the PNW.

The one running in first place is beautiful but is a little over much with the painterly colors. So to me it lacks the spirit of what makes the PNW so wonderful.

the first-place one seems a little hyper-real to me. i see the impact, but it feels like it's a painting from a book about a fantasy world.

i kinda like this one - but if this is to add to a memory wall, i think it kind of comes down to which mountain has more significance/associations/resonance with you?

also: you have some really lovely pictures you've taken, as i recall - why not see about getting one of those printed up?

...i know, just what you wanted - more choices!

Actually the vividness is what I like about it, that it evokes the feeling of whimsy or magic that the PNW can have.

And now n=6 for the same photo (I am discarding the outliers; they are clearly just data errors.)

Yeah that's pretty much why I like it. I'm a big fantasy nut.
