well, you could suggest the library dispose of all books older than 10 yrs, and make sure the press hears about it - that seemed to generate a lot of attention for that one library.
of course, you would probably be out on your ear as a member of the FotL.... _________________ aka: neverscared!

Didn't someone left the community because her husband (and her religion) made her leave?

Okay so some time ago I told Snorri that pressing the cat's face into their pee was a good way to teach them not to randomly pee everywhere.
Turns out it was pretty bad advice. Sorry Snorri.
Apparantly it's different for every cat. Mine took it quick enough but according to my local vet some cats will end up hating you for it and instead just pee anywhere to spite you.
He adviced me (for whenever I get a new cat - which is prolly 20 years from now) that instead I should give them their food in the room where they did their thing - cats never eat where they pee or poo.
Also having seperate litter boxes helps.
Hopefully my shitty advice didn't hurt anyone. |

Uh so. For all intents and purposes I live in a one room flat with two cats (there is technically a bedroom but it's full of things that kill cats, so they are barred from it).
They've never seemed to have a problem eating in the same room as their litter boxes. _________________ Samsally the GrayAce |

Interesting. It really is different for every cat. I haven't tested it but I know they never sleep where they pee. |

I took your advice and now I'm missing an eye, both hands, one leg, most of my lower digestive tract, and the latest episode of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as we speak.

My understanding of cats is the default is they don't mean to do anything wrong, especially if they love you. But people assume cats are all assholes. So then the cat gets older and isn't as happy and loving as it could be - which confirms the idea cats are assholes.
Peeing outside the litter box could be a host of things, and while some might do it to test boundaries or to be jerks, I think the notion that cats do stuff like this out of vengeance is more myth than anything. _________________ ::lesser crisis mode::

@Sripey: You're completely correct. I think my form of punishment is probably the wrong way to go. |

I believe they just have a son. (Unless they hate their daughter and refuse to include her in their family pictures on FB.) _________________ Eureka00: "Reminding you of your addictions" since 1982. |

They definitely have a daughter, as they've mentioned her and shown pictures in an LJ I follow. Er, followed? How recent are the family pictures? _________________ Way to kill the conversation, Patty.- Trevor |

I'm thinking about getting another litter box anyway. We had two but one broke.
Haven't had any trouble the past few days though. So I'll do other stuff when it happens again. _________________
