its surprising and disorienting. I thought, "wasnt this a kid's show?" "did i watch this as a kid?"
then you see a fridge full of stop motion characters have a drug orgy in which whipped cream is a drug and the center of some creamy dirty shit.
adult swim is sometimes really good. sometimes mediocre. |

| Actual comment: What drug references? Where? Are you trying to break my childhood, or is this whole whipped cream orgy drug festival an accurate portrayal? Or both? |

Adult Swim has a habit of testing it's viewerbase. _________________ If Pro is the opposite of Con, is Progress the opposite of Congress? |

| I'm all over Venture Brothers. Watched the whole first season in a day, in an organized format. It didn't grok at first, but once you catch on .. - |

Venture Bros. is badass.
I think the best example of "testing" was the airing of Saved By the Bell.
My thoughts ran something like:
wtf?
w? t? f?
Oh, that's right, the third girl was named Lisa.
No, seriously, wtf? |

Saved By the Bell was a joke they took too far.
"Hey, we got Family Guy uncanceled! lets see what we can do with SBTB!"
ATHF IS the greatest. <3 for Kitten.
Finally, yes, Paul Reubens is warped, its amazing they got away with some of this. Just today: "Its raining outside! Oh no! What can we do to pass the time? *Puts on the 'Magic Glasses' that make the work seem all squiggly*" I wonder what THAT could be a reference to? Hmmmmm? |

I hope people are just joking when they act surprised about drug refrences in a show that features talking furniture.
... Y'know, just sayin'. |
