For sure. This community is largely stronger than it's individual members.
I love you Willem, and I'll be sad to see you go, but this will continue to be a kickass community even if you aren't around. Sinfest gives us more than any one of us gives Sinfest.

But seriously: What the fuck is going on here? We had a lot of annoying people on the other forum, but here, it's just getting out of hand. There are people with more than 50 posts a day, that only have one purpose: Getting a higher post-count.

Their postwhoring does have a certain level of creativity that is lacking in some of the posts here. I don't know how to phrase this kindly but some of the postwhoring is just wasting space. As opposed to the entirely useful kind which involves foxes, chickens, lightbulbs and lube....
At least the latter makes me laugh.

I do agree, actually... I'm hoping it'll settle down after a little while. I'd rather not resort to such a drastic measure as leaving just yet. I don't think the old forum will be much better, honestly. But I used to read the postwhoring threads whenever I needed a good laugh, and now they seem to be just pages and pages of nothing. With the amount of posting that's been going on, the giddy thread should be flooded, but it isn't. That says something.
Still, like I say, I think it may clear up as time goes on. We'll miss you, Willem, but I'd keep an eye out here if I were you, in case normalcy returns. Don't just write the whole thing off for good. |

There are fewer posts today than there were yesterday. Things will presumably settle down once the novelty wears off. Drama isn't needed.
