I've gone through three multi-paragraphed versions of me trying to explain how all of this mentally sucker punched me, but I can't do the confusion justice.
I haven't felt this mentally infantile since my freshman English class in high school.

So thanks rm.

You literate bastard.

you're quite welcome. I'm thinking that if it's really that confusing, a problem I can see being exacerbated* by the lack of punctuation as well, then I might just redo the whole thing. (I'm sure halen and others would appreciate that, too.) I think it might be fun to completely restructure the piece, boil it down, maybe throw in some carrots and see what kind of stew I can get this time.

* fixed for frisby

I find this... exceedingly tight. It reveals little bits each time through.

I can read "exceedingly tight" in good and bad ways. can you elaborate? tight-assed or, "dude, that's tight..." ?

Honestly, it's not the writing itself thats the confusion factor. I'm not quite sure how it sounds in my head and in an effort to fix that I'm trying to imagine how it sounds in yours.

Considering the fact that I have no idea what you sound like or what your vocal pattern is, I'm getting the equivalent of a 404 error. Sadly enough this is just one of many questions that pumped through my cortex as I started to over analyze.

that's interesting, because I've often wondered how other people read stuff, what with the cadance and all. I definitely pace the words in a specific way, and I am aware that in this case the lack of markings and distribution of phrases makes it hard to know what that pacing is. but I'm glad that you're at least thinking about it!

It's like shouting out an open window and listening for that nonexistent echo. *.............................................* I was right: nothing.
