I've endured a lot of mediocre anime 'cuz of this. Also, every once in a while, a story shifts course and actually gets better.
For anyone who cares, Bleach is probably the best example of this in like the history of forever. Sure the anime ended in the middle of what was the absolute shittiest arc ever . . . but then it got better, like WAY better than I though it could have gotten considering how shitty it had gotten.

Ok, I'm not trying to convert you, but I don't quite follow you here. the position of my right hand is different with a trackpad vs. mouse, but wither way I'm still left with only one hand on the keyboard. |
I don't use a mouse, either, though I'm less bothered on the occasions when I have to use one.

I recently watched a video comparing Homestuck to the internet generation's equivalent of Ulysses. (not in terms of any literary or cultural significance, but rather in respect to the sheer challenge of getting through it).
