Anyone remember the Spark-tests iq test that just asked an infinite number of questions and the real test itself was simply to see how long it took you to figure it out and stop?

Now THAT is an IQ test.

I play my bass when I'm high or bored. Either way, I've played for long enough for it to sound good.

I might take the test later, but I expect a lower score than my actual IQ due to the language barrier. I have done similar tests earlier though, and as far as I know I am average (upper average on pattern recognition) on most things, although I seem to have marginally lower on spatial relations, but then again my verbal intelligence is way above average. This is not bragging, this is fact. Oh and my organizational skills are below average, or the low-end of average to be precise, aswell.

i have to admit i'm kinda curious how i would score in an actual IQ test. back in grade-school i used to score in the top 1% on all the standardized tests without trying. however, i don't have any faith whatsoever in online tests. maybe i'll do it later just for kicks.

Yup, online tests are odd. Back in 5th grade I scored above 145 and I haven't taken a "real" IQ test since. Still IQ is a measurement of how well you learn, not what you can do with it. The guy with the highest IQ measured is a bouncer at a club when he has a job. He can't keep a job for very long. Interesting, no?

couldnt an idiot technically score high on an IQ test though? i mean if they guess the proper answers in a suitable time frame..wouldnt that put them in the genius category even though they are completely retarded possibly?

And idiot savant is only smart in one catagory such as math. They couldn't score super high because they are an idiot in every other catagory. And yes, an idiot could guess and get all the answers right but in the "proper" tests this is nearly impossible since there are nearly a hundred or more questions.
