Another jab at the real power behind much of what the church does. It should have been obvious to all before this (and to some it probably was), but guilt is not one of the tools of God. If God is the supreme being, why would He/She need to guilt others into following His/Her ways? _________________ TatWatch - The Artist is: IN!

If you want to examine the internal motivations of a faith, you need to operate within the ideology backing that faith (in this case, Brand X Judeo-Christian dogma):
1) God created man with free will.
2) Through the influence of Satan*, man used free will to obtain knowledge of good and evil.
3) The knowledge of good and evil gave birth to guilt.
*Depending on which flavor of Judeo-Christian faith we're talking about, this may or may not be applicable.
Guilt is, therefore, not one of the tools of God.
It's a mistake common to rabid unbelievers to equate the Church with divine will. The Church is a construct of man, not of God. |

"And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves." Matthew 21:13.

Yea really I don't think tat's using his comic as an outlet for cutting social commentary. _________________ "I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration." ~Frank Herbert, Dune |
