I can see that as possibly the best part of having cancer.
The doing what you want part, not the horribly painful and prolonged death. That part would probably suck. _________________ Live to laugh. |

Ditto. This is scary stuff, meningitis is not cool. Neither are grand mal seizures, unconsciousness, or comas. Go to see a doctor. _________________ Forcibly adopted by Varst...

This thread is good because it's title made me laugh. I shall have some top ice cream to celebrate it, yo!
And Varst, it's 'callous' ... as in, 'Varst wishes she was really a callous bitch.' |

Yeah, but instead of going to the doctor could you just die instead?
Thanks in advance |

Don't waste your doctor's time with your minor illness. Take some aspirin and have a hot bath. If it gets worse and comes with headaches and such, and painkillers don't work THEN go to a doctor.
Also, you people are cunts. I'm so proud of you. |

Btw- another idea.. Doctor's opinions are always VERY important.... however coming from a person that either A.) hasn't had affordable health insurance most of her adult life.. or B.) Now has a $250 deductible to meet before insurance will cover stuff.... I'm the kind of person who doesn't go to the doctor unless shits seriously messed up.
So Dusty, if your necks locked up, and it feels similar to any sore necks you might've experienced in your life by sleeping on it wrong, or too much stress winding your muscles up... here's what I suggest besides the normal heating pads. (you can also find some great heating "sock" type things in most malls these days.. the ones filled with delicious herbs that you heat up in the microwave and then it just forms to your body wherever you put it.) MASSAGE THERAPIST. If you can't afford a professional for $60-80 (+tip! Never forget the tipping).. then look up any massage therapy schools in your area and you can usually go get a massage by a well-trained, but non-official student therapist for $30 or so.
Most likely your necks just hurting from muscles that need to be worked out and softened. Good luck. |
