Not the best strip in a while, I had to think twice before realizing do-me was dewey - Other than that, he still do a pretty poor job at quitting |

I'm such a sinfest rookie... First I had a small shock, cause my name is Bjørn too, and all my paranoia fired up thinking about ways you could have found out or what in the world you meant by the comment. Then I googled BjørnSlippy and was sent right back to this forum.

| With line like Do-Me decimal system, I am surprised it took so long for a thread to be started about this one. |

I was going to comment on how accurately it seems to represent the struggle to overcome addiction too, but I thought that would be a bit out of place in all these happy-fun-time comments. |

Do-me decimal? All the big collections use the Library of Comegress system.
How's that for a bad first post? At least I'm not a spam bot. |

I'd think it would be the Library of Sexual Congress.
But the Dewey system is much easier for me to understand than the LC system. Mostly because I didn't want to be an academic librarian, so didn't study the system. _________________ A person's character is their destiny. |

If only Marvin Gaye wrote a song about that, maybe more people would be interested in politics. _________________ Scire aliquid laus est, pudor est non discere velle

Well, they had to switch to something because good ol' Dewey just doesn't have enough room these days. LC may not either but it is at least leaving space. I like it better myself. Letters and numbers. I like. _________________ Before God created Las he pondered on all the aspects a woman might have, he considered which ones would look good super-inflated and which ones to leave alone.

| I thought the obvious pun was the Library of Coitus, but what do I know. |

Nah, one of the things that makes this strip brilliant is the deeper stuff lurking just behind the funny stuff. Squigley has lots of porn, all sorted and organized, so you know he's really into it -- but hey, it's all softcore, so everything's cool. Rationalizing, ya know? Of course, I don't personally have a lot of room to criticize.... _________________ Jeux sans frontièrs... |
