17 is extremely impressive... I'm awed.
A kitten in a tub. My roommates and I were fostering this one and its sibling. (I can't remember if this one was the male or the female.) |

Dogs are not the only victims. A couple of years ago, Lunch came down with a urinary infection and, because of his age, the vet wanted to do a complete workup. This was before the diagnosis, so imagine my shock when I returned and she said, "Lunch has been shot." It must have shown in my face because she quickly said, "Oh, that's not what's wrong with him; this was some time ago."
This is a cat who sleeps in the bed with me and sits on me or next to me any time I hold still for it. Never noticed blood on anything or him acting strange. However, we lost another cat mysteriously a few years ago and I suspect I now know how. Anyway, the vet said to leave the pellet in; it's just lying in fatty tissue. Thank the gods it didn't make him people-skittish. _________________

Is he a little old guy? He looks a bit arthritic.
I'm glad he's doing well despite the hunk of metal in his side. I'm sorry about your other little one.
As a side note, radiographs are awesome. |

17 and counting. He still does his walkabout, climbs stairs (usually at breakneck speed during the morning crazies), navigates the steep ramp to his perch, and jumps about 1.5 lengths onto my bed. He has shown some signs of stiffness, however, so I've provided him stairs onto the bed. He is getting used to them but sometimes still prefers the leap. He's pretty spry for his age and no sign of other problems, which is amazing since he is an indoor/outdoor feline. _________________

I had a great cat, Inky, live to be 20. She had already gone blind and pretty much never left the kitchen. Two of her three cats are still kicking at age nine. Sadly, Lucy, my baby, only lived to be about 2 years. Hmmm, and I do believe both Lance and Sherlock made it to a nice, old age.
That's Fluffy, who used to eat the food my mom left out for stray cats and one day decided to meow at our door until my brother Tim let him in. He now lives in Chicago with Tim.
Brothers Flea and Sam, I *think* in that order. Hard to tell from that picture. Must be before Sam became a blimp.
Inky!
Inky's daughter, Gwen.
More of my baby, Frankie.
I'll post more later. We've had a LOT of cats over the years... _________________ Way to kill the conversation, Patty.- Trevor |

My family used to have a runt german shepherd as well.. named, "Chelsea". I still miss her.. But unfortunately with moving around alot, we had her for about 4 years before giving her to a stable non-moving home in the country. =/ |

My boyfriend(calisrue) holding my cat, Marilyn. ^_^ So cute...
Marilyn attacking my stuffed tiger...even though it looks like she's hugging it. _________________ Eureka00: "Reminding you of your addictions" since 1982.

This is my Molly girl.
I love her. She is the best ever. 13 years old, a blonde lab (more white than blonde nowadays), and she is SOOOOO blonde.
