Just felt like adding an end message, I didn't want to check my inbox in case there was something mean so I made this new profile for just this one post (selfish old me). So anyways, towards the end I was a bit mean, due to the heckling but...

The whole point of the argument was that monogamic couples have less sexual diseases. I don't think anyone can really argue with that and you were just being some emotional sissies yesterday.

I think it depends entirely on the monogomous couple in question. I mean, if you start out with two people who each have their own disease (and it is -entirely- possible to get one without engaging in sex) compaired with a group of eight people, none of which have -any- disease...

I dunno, obviously if you sleep with -more- people there is more of a chance of encountering somebody with an STD, but then there is also the opportunity to say "Nope, sorry, not up to snuff" and turn them down, too, which I've been given the impression tends to happen in situations like that.

Also, you can't really post on sinfest and be an emotional sissy, because the ones that try run away. Funny, that.

and as i said on the other thread (or some other thread) - the disease risk is associated with having multiple sexual partners, not with the time frame over which you have those multiple partners. so, if multiple partners increase your risk, this will be just as true if you have a serious of partners, one by one, over time, as if you had one night of wild sex with a roomful of people.

so this is not a vailid reason to reject orgies per se, it's just an objection to having sex with more than one person in your lifetime.

and even that doesn't necessarily protect you.
