Actually I didn't appreciate the age of decrepit computer games while I was living it. That sort of thing was usually relegated to Osprey Lake, Oregon Trail, or Carmen Sandiego on the school computers.

I miss Carmen Sandiego. It was an awesome game. All I have now is Rock-apella.

It's called his halo.

Hmm, I think I'm going to go and try a search on Google for that stuff now :-)

Man, I sucked so bad at that game. Mixing a bad memory with only mild interest in world trivial made me fail utterly every single time.

Rock-apella was awesome, though.

I also majorly sucked. didn't stop me from loving it tho. Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego was so the best.

I always played with the Almanac that came in the box. Smile

Where is Time is Carmen is after my time. I feel old. Sad

Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego was still pretty old (released by 1991). I remember having that one as a kid.

Where in Space is Carmen Sandiego, that was after my time.

Edit: Where in Time was released in 1989, Where in Space was released in 1993 so maybe I just didn't see it until later.

Hmm... sounds like I misremember since I was 5 in 1989. Course, I always got the hand me down games... Still those dates don't sound right but I trust your research.

In other words, Never mind me!

heh, i was a whole one year old when it was released. Safe to say i just didn't pay attention for a fair few years.
What was that fairly (i think) recent one (aka sometime in the mid ninety's), with the trivia questions instead of actually searching for Carmen? was multi-player or some such from memory

Is it possible that it's Carmen Sandiego Word Detective? Here's a list of games in the series:

While at school I played number munchers on the Apple II and some Zork clone (with B&W graphics made up with about a dozen lines) on the mac. I always ended up in dark areas, getting killed by some grue substitute.

that list canīt be correct... there was no SNES in 1985.
in japan it was released in 1990. 1992 in europe i think.
sega master system also wasnīt released before 1985.
NES came out in 1983. guess you had an NES, fiona. ; )

i played alota consoles, but i must admit i never cared about carmen sandiego! i never even heard about games with that content.^^

...after thinking about it, itīs possible they mean it was FIRST released on amiga or whatever in 1985 and later on the other systems. damn.
