i saw samuel l. on the daily show during the week and, i must say, i had the distinct feeling that the whole movie thing peaked earlier than what was for its own good.

i was specifically 'meh' over it all.

Hmm, what to say about this movie... my friends and I caught a special screening last night. My impressions? Sammy didn't say motherfucker enough, snakes are horny little fellows, and everyone on that plane was desensitized to death a little too well.

I don't know what to think about this movie, I suppose it was built up a little too much. The movie was okay, I applaud it for being a somewhat original idea amongst a sea of 70/80's movie remakes.

I expected it to be a lot more light hearted and comical, but it was fairly typical for an action movie I guess.

I give it 7 snakes out of 10.

These two movie reviews essentially get it right. Anyone remember the Joe Bob Briggs reviews of quality B-flickage?

Measurement in gore, various types of fu, a boob count, etc., etc., Joe Bob says: go check it out. This is a crassly indulgent movie.

Can you believe I only found out what the hell this Snakes on a Plane buisness was about, yesterday? (Yes, yes you can)

Appently I'm not spending enough time on the internet. There I was, just silently wondering what the hell all those online comics were talking about, untill I wikid it.

I must say I don't expect much of a movie that doesn't get pre-screened by critics, in fear of losing the hype. Then again, knowing the movie went back from PG to R warms my heart. Basically an inverse AvP.

Why the hell not!?

I just saw it, and as a fan of B-movie cheese I have to say this was an excellent movie!

It was like, what if a B-movie had a budget?

Why do people applaud in a movie theater?

They can't hear you.
