Yep. She made a legit interception of the pass and made it to the end zone. Touchdown, 6 points for Nique. (or 7 if they don't bother with actually doing extra point kicks, casual football usually doesn't) |

| I think I just fell in love with panel 8. The look on squiggley's eyes is priceless. |

Conversion is standard in nearly all American football. One point for goalpost kick, two points for end zone pass.
You can do the kick in rugby, I believe, but not the two point conversion. |

Not that I mean this to contradict you in any was, since I know about as little about baseball as I do about American Football, but when I read grand slam, I associated it to tennis. |
That would be because a grand slam in tennis is when someone holds the titles of the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and U.S. Open simultaneously. There's also a grand slam in golf, that's similar to the tennis one, that I had no clue about. There's a Grand Slam in just about every sport.

pretty sure they both lifted 'grand slam' from baseball, in their association with "scoring big, four times"...
...separately, i think denny's is just riding the coattails of the whole term |

Not only greats, but they're all quarterbacks, |
and not just quarterbacks, but Superbowl-winning quarterbacks. which number 18 has just become, also.
and of course Sweetness and Deion have both won it all, as well. and Jordan, just, yknow.. not in football. |
