This is the first strip (that I know of) that uses not only black and white, but gray in it's composition. I would guess it's computer painted, rare for the non-sunday strips. Things like shadowing and contrast, were B/W, inked, usually using lines.

My guess it's that the gray it's a rough way of saying "Hey, imagine this is red, and you can't see colors!"

I REALLY hope that the fact that Crimny is in the left hand, doesn't mean what I think it means...

The eyes and possibly the nose of the devil make him look kind of feminine. That threw it off for me.

Hah, I would have commented "Robot of Love" for the last panel, but Tat did it for me.

That's probably not computer'd grey, that's probably an applied sheet of tone. Tat draws these much, much larger than they appear on the screen.
