well, maybe slick is right after all? Maybe he's the only one who can see behind the fourth wall after all(remember the comic about pig "breaking the fourth wall"?) O.o

to be honest, i kinda agree with you...well, it would have been a nice change, if only the fourth panel would be in color, the rest in bw

Doesn't Tat probably have the comics done several days in advance, and just uploads them daily? Or do you think he actually does the day's comic, the day before?

I'm guessing the former, in which case... yeah, Coincidence.

But cute comic none the less.

They're not late, they're just later than the rest. The Sunday comics are put up sometime around 4 a.m. UTC-5, and the others are put up around 12 a.m. UTC-5.

Maybe it's both, he draws them a few days in advance, then decides to throw in a non sequitur-ish one just to screw with you, like this one, since it don't have concrete ties to the previous comic.

Considering the discussion of screen tones began nearly a week ago, I'd say that's plenty of time for this to be a reference.

but that's why it is so poignant. they live in a daily strip. it is black and white from our perspective. but from theirs... who knows?

The most probable situation here it's that Tat put mind-control chips in all of our brains, making us think that there's actually a comic called Sinfest, that we all read. Or that' what he makes us think. Maybe, there's no us, only Tat, Sinfest and computer AI that post randomly in the forum. Maybe we're all in hell, and this is the punishment for all our lifes of Sin... well, fest.

Or maybe, MAYBE, Tat created this storyline as a way to start with the gray stuff and take advantage of that. Then, strangely, the SINFEST forum talked about the changes in SINFEST... and the result is that, well, we're all talking about Sinfest.

Did I say Sinfest too many times?

I was stunned by the beauty of this comic. Nice job with the visual being so well in tune with the the content.
