This one produced a good laugh instead of a typical smile.

Christ kept Mary Magdalene (not a prostitute so much as a married woman that was sleeping with her not-husband) from being stoned to death, if that's what you mean. Aside from that, the bible just says she became his devout follower. That might mean nothing and it might mean everything.

thx

but i was pretty sure that i've heard she was his lover. Maybe it was one of these stories which wasn't written down because it was against the religion itself. You know "prostitute's are bad" "but wasn't jesus wife a prostitute, you know, she slept with other guys other than her husband" "well...let's just take this part out, no one will know"

The Da Vinci Code is not a particularly reliable source.

"i heard it many years ago, several times. Maybe in school, maybe in church, maybe at home, don't know" is roughly 33.8 times as reliable as The Da Vinci Code, but 33.8 times zero is still zero.

Keign answered you, and you responded with a suggestion that the authors of the Bible might have lied about that part.

"well maybe [x] lied." is not meaningful dialogue.

It's a fairly common myth with no credible evidence.
