Here are this month's splendid entries.

DiCola - Rainy Day (2002-11-10)

Heart - Nobody Sees Me (2007-2-3)

Keign - Perfectron Needs Villains (2006-24-04)

Kibate - Ask me 11 (2005-12-10)

MsFrisby - Fallen (2007-23-02)

Twister87 - Bait (2006-09-12)

A little reminder as to the rules, to vote you must say for wich colouring you vote in your post. The poll is not the "official" score. Normally newbies aren't allowed to vote, but I will only enforce this rule if I think that someone is using alts to get or give someone an advantage.

I vote for MsFris

I like the vivid colors in Panel 1,2 and Seymour's expression in panel 4.

(I probably would have voted for Kibate's but I think he's almost guaranteed to win)

so we have until the 14th to vote, and then entries for next month will be accepted until the end of the month? because I don't understand why this is happening on the 8th.

well, i can see this contest is going to be a draining on us voters as always - we started out with a really smashing lineup.

both keign and twister87 have done a nice job of what i consider 'classic' cartoon coloring. i would give twister a slight edge in technique, but i love keign's choice of strip - a perfect choice for that style. msfris shows wonderful technique, with the little flush on seymour's face and the end, and that great second panel - the neon almost comes off my screen! kibate does a love job in a pastel style (again, extremely appropriate for that strip) - beautiful shading job (and i just have to mention again how much i love tat's touch with the hearts on the girl's heads in the last panel). i also must admit to liking the shading heart has used on her strip, with monique fading into the peachy glow of other people's dreams.

but my vote is going to dicola. lovely technique and attention to detail (check out the way the chair cushion reacts to nique's weight, and they way she seems to be lit by the lightening flash in the first panel) - and the colors perfectly set the mood.

you know, i think i _will_ start coloring strips myself - that way, there will be one strip that no one will feel bad about not voting for.

Kibate, because it has kind of a "colored pencil" kind of look and I love it.

Dicola's dark shades tipped the scales on this one! [first]
I love the way the panels in Hearts' are progressive. [very close second]

I know i'm a newbie, but i've been a sinfest fan for years!
Thanks for allowing my opinion to count!

My vote goes to DiCola's. It's very well done, to the point where it almost doesn't look comic-ish anymore.

I voted for heart. I really like the lines and the colors are just right. Second choice would have been DiCola, awesome as ever

I totally agree, which ironically is why I *didn't* vote for it - it's good, just not my thing.

I like's heart's too. Close - but I'm gonna have to go with Kibate.
