I usually only really enjoy the Slick and Monique interaction strips (especially recently, since the plot seems to be moving a little), but this is probably my favorite strip ever outside of those ones.
Besides, the second panel is friggin' adorable.
On another note, anybody else notice how Buddha seems to have taken the place of The Dragon? |

Because, despite dandelions having practical uses in herbal
medicine and fun to rub on people's cheeks, it is considered
a weed. _________________ Damn you, I am a crazy monkey |

Did Tat intend to put meaning into this strip? |
Reminds me of this:
Somebody wrote: | Toward the end of his life, the Buddha took his disciples to a quiet pond for instruction. As they had done so many times before, the Buddha’s followers sat in a small circle around him, and waited for the teaching.
But this time the Buddha had no words. He reached into the muck and pulled up a lotus flower. And he held it silently before them, its roots dripping mud and water.
The disciples were greatly confused. Buddha quietly displayed the lotus to each of them. In turn, the disciples did their best to expound upon the meaning of the flower: what it symbollized, and how it fit into the body of Buddha’s teaching.
When at last the Buddha came to his follower Mahakasyapa, the disciple suddenly understood. He smiled and began to laugh. Buddha handed the lotus to Mahakasyapa and began to speak.
“What can be said I have said to you,” smiled the Buddha, “and what cannot be said, I have given to Mahakashyapa.”
Mahakashyapa became Buddha’s successor from that day forward. |

And this was the beginning of zen.
I really love the strip. Pure awe coming from me, Tat. Pure awe. |

Bah. They're like freckles on a girl's face. Only bad if you're obsessive about perfection. |

I dunno what Tat is thinking, but he seems to be on a "religion" kick, as noticed in God Loves You, and in this one. He even hit the Devil earlier on with that last Sunday strip. _________________ Who really did take the cookie from the cookie jar? Was it the same person who made my electricity bill over $200? ...
The strip's name is Sinfest.
The very first one featured the main character trying to sell his soul.
A religion "kick"? wtf? _________________ "To love deeply in one direction makes us more loving in all others."

Freckles on a girl's face are not the equivalent of weeds in a yard. Mainly because they're not unsightly - well unless they clash horribly with the rest of the girls appearance. |

I am not that amazing, I was just saying that lately it has been about Monique and Slick and their relationship, but in the past couple he has kind of ignored that. _________________ Who really did take the cookie from the cookie jar? grass (the kind on your lawn, not the kind you smoke) is a weed, and we still keep it around.
I think it's because dandelions are harder to control and keep looking neat. _________________ Dad said "No! You will BE KILL BY DEMONS" |
