Got into the Hearthstone beta. It's pretty good, looks and sounds fantastic, but any veteran CCG player is going to find it more than a bit shallow.

Hard to complain when it's free to play though.

SO, I see this post this morning:

Dammit.

Also, why did I have to try that while getting ready for work? Now I'm stuck here thinking, "okay, nine hours until I get home, which means I should have about 27mil cookies built up... but if I swung home on my lunch break I could make the second half so much more efficient... assuming it doesn't boot me after hours of inactivity..."

Paintball twitch skills, plus I was off today

The Angel fires 15 rounds/second, I wast aught by pro paintball players how to fire faster:

Quote:
First off, when you pull the trigger you use your biceps to pull the trigger keeping your wrist and fingers stiff.

Second, here is how you can achieve a high ROF doing this. Have you ever noticed that when you flex your biceps that you can make your whole arm shake, or rather twitch? Same thing here. You are trying to twitch like this in a controlled manner so that you can just rattle off shots on the RT trigger. The reason this really works is because the RT bounce helps push your finger back if you are a bit sloppy on letting up after each shot.

Also, having my mac w/ the touch pad helps as well

Then it's a good thing there's apparently an achievement for getting your first million without ever clicking the cookie.
