That does look neat, and I'm not even a gamer.

Though I did totally beat Halo 4, on easy mode, with a friend of mine in like two sittings last weekend. Most of which was blowing myself up flying a Broadsword into the side of a ship over and over again. *brushes imaginary dirt off his shoulder*

On Rome 2: there's an absolutely brilliant game hidden under these inexplicable performance issues and massive bugs. I'm just wondering what the hell happened.

I just played Magical Diary. If you can get past the pretty old-fashioned anime style, it's actually a pretty good game with a lot of thought put into the writing and characters. It's more a visual novel really. For an indie game, it's pretty well done. There's a lot more depth than I thought it would have.

There is one character that I feel a bit iffy about though... But considering I haven't exactly explored the entire game yet (one playthrough really doesn't cover it), I'm abstaining from criticizing that for now.

I 100%'d the first one. around the time i stopped giving a shit about college. the puzzles were simple enough yet challenging that it became oddly addictive.

It's a well made tower defense game, and yes, the challenges and levels are designed well.

I loved the crap out of it. I still play it through once in awhile. Sometimes it's just nice to set up a ton of cat tails and stars, and then watch zombies fall down.

EA's tired of hackers modding SimCity to fix their crappy game, so they're trying to come out with an official modding tool that keeps the game crappy. But they'd like your feedback.

Rune Factory 4 is FINALLY HERE I'M SO HAPPY.

First thoughts: Man that is a fucking weird set of armor. Like. I've never seen armor simulate a pierced nipple before.

Second thoughts: HEEE VIRTUAL FARMING AND CUTE PEOPLE. All of the people so far are cute and actually nice and that makes me really happy because the most of the dudes from the last harvest moon game were kind of dickbags and it bummed me out.

Specs for the Steamboxes Valve will be shipping to beta testers.
All Nvidia+Intel, and all of them pretty damn powerful. The lowest spec graphics card will be a GTX660 with 3GB GDDR5 and the lowlieest CPU is an i3.
System RAM for all machines looks to be set at 16GB DDR3-1600. Storage will be a 3TB hybrid drive with 8GB of flash cache. The PSU is rated at 450W and is 80-Plus Gold certified.
All of this will be crammed into boxes just a bit smaller than an Xbone.

This game is basically a really glorified dating sim, farming sim, and dungeon crawler all mixed together and it's everything I love in one video game.

So I can't seem to decide between the good natured work-a-holic who is nothing if not proper and polite all the time (and has a weird love of turnips) or the kind of asshole guy that turned out to be less of a jerk and just ridiculously shy (i FINALLY found out he likes carrots).

I mean I was all about the sweet guy to start off with but it's not nearly as hysterical as watching the jerk stumble over himself whenever he tries to say something nice.

This game is ridiculous. I'm so happy it finally came out.
