I have been playing total war since day one and it just not adds too much depth. The last time I have been frustrated soo much by stupid game mechanics like Mo2, when you decline the nomination they all gang up on you in one massive empire... I just wanna conquer you, not win by diplomatic victory!
(Tbh, after Empire it could've only go downhill). _________________ When life gives you lemons, some people make lemonade. I just eat them and make a sour face. |

How was Empire? It's the only one I'm yet to play. _________________ The older I get, the more certain I become of one thing. True and abiding cynicism is simply a form of cowardice. |

I loved it. Perhaps because I can play as the Netherlands but it is very interesting - lots of options, naval warfare actually matters, the battles are pretty different from most melee based TW games, and the economy/choices are good because of the many theaters. Unfortunately, the scale is difficult for the AI, but that always has been the case. But yeah, rush like napoleon and then fight in distant lands. _________________ When life gives you lemons, some people make lemonade. I just eat them and make a sour face. |

| Skylanders is surprisingly awesome. The extra characters is a surprisingly effective method for making you spend more money... |

Just added: Cave Story+, Offspring Fling, and The Basement Collection (includes the original Meat Boy that went on to become Super Meat Boy) Plus the soundtracks for all three!
Automatically added to bundles that have already been purchased, but only available on new bundles if you pay more than average ($6.41 right now). |

I've been told I should play Bioshock at some point.
Looks like you can download it straight to the Xbox for $20. I'm kinda tempted. _________________ "Samsally is rude and calls people fuckwits." ~ Dogen |

Yes, buy it. You will play it, then play it again, then maybe even play it a third time. I didn't play it until after a couple of years after it came out. After about fifteen or twenty minutes or so into it, after the opening parts and what not, My opinion of the game was "My God, I could have been enjoying this much, much sooner." The more I played, the more that opinion was confirmed. _________________

It's a good game.
However you can probably go buy it used for $10. Unless the $20 comes with something extra I'd go to the store. _________________ I have a face, with a mustache.

I really wish I had a more accessible PC. As in, I wish I could have my PC set up in such a way that I could play it as comfortably as I can my console games.
Sitting at a desk just isn't relaxing, plus I'm isolated from the wife/dog cuddles that way.
But damn, PC games are so much nicer than consoles because of mods.
Dragon age Origins on PC with graphic enhancing mods, work of art. On console it's like a brown blotch with wood teeth characters. The core of the game is the same, still great, but visually unappetizing.
I'm working on a set up for the house that will allow me to access the computer on the big screen from the comfort of the couch. _________________ I have a face, with a mustache.

Connect your television to your PC as a secondary monitor and use either a controller or a wireless keyboard+mouse? A 50ft HDMI cable is $15 online, so it's not like yoi need to finda way to tuck your PC into your entertainment center _________________ “Yields falsehood when preceded by its quotation”

Yeah, that's the plan.
I just don't have the room/effort at the current time. Once I move though it will be a different story. _________________ I have a face, with a mustache.

I'd rather play it on the xbox. I prefer console gaming and my ancient computer only has a little bit of space left open on it (and I've already dumped all the files I can to an external hard drive, its full of programs I don't want to uninstall).
Pretty sure my local store has it used for $20, too. Just one of the perks of living in the middle of nowhere, I guess. _________________ "Samsally is rude and calls people fuckwits." ~ Dogen |
