I love the new shading and backgrounds. He's really getting more comfortable with it, and it's becoming more effective and subtler.
Nice.

I actually thought of Fiona too. Can't remember if I've seen a pic of Steph, but I remembered Las recently put that pic up.

Kinda neat. If it is true, I'd like to see Tats interpretation of Benny.

::shivers in delight:: It probably isn't true because Tat probably does his strips in advance but... ::more shivers::

Also, I like the small text and pointing out speech bubbles because it amuses me and thanks for the compliments!

Dear Mr Ishida:

Please post to end the disgusting yet amusing self-important fantasizing circlejerking of this thread. My health is being seriously hurt by the amount of laughter caused by the previous posts. A drawing of a hot woman in a webcomic drives a group of the readers into a jerkfest around the already insanely ego-boosted sex-in-your-face white trash resident, uniting the creepy with the awh-we're-all-friends-let's-say-we're-all-hot, with a little touch of "ISN'T IT AMAZING THAT SHE HAS SIMILAR PANTS and poses in the standard omg-I'm-so-hot style like her????!!!!111".

I am glad this happened, for I hadn't laughed so much about the self-assigned importance and displacement some people has in an internet forum, and have never seen anything so ridiculous in my entire life. It allowed me to, at last, find something worse than people obsessed with being anthopomorphic animals: people that think their favourite webcartoonist draws them or someone they idolize! But this has to stop. My heart won't be able to deal with more emotions.

Lol internet.

The tendency to note similarities in people and characters is not unusual. It's just an observation and it happened to be the first one that I made. When Ms. Frisby also noted it, I decided to chime in. You're wildly overreacting.

And do you really need to bring your grudges with you in every thread you post?

But dude.

Is not about any personal grudge.

I don't care that it's fiona, it only makes it more amusing.

It's just pathetic.

I am overreacting.

You see a girl with some pants and a tank top and long hair and think she's inspired in a forum girl.

And *I* am overreacting.

Lol internet and all that.

I must be confused, because I didn't read anywhere that they said she was obviously the inspiration for the comic-girl.
Which leads me to conclude that you are indeed overreacting.

I ALWAYS now hear, "Centipedes? In MY vagina?" when people pose two short questions in a row, the first question only being a single word.

i'm tempted to ask where this comes from...and terrified that if i find out, it will become part of _my_ mental landscape.

but to divert things back to the comic - aren't most famous muses the objects of unrequited love?
