Our brains must be entirely deterministic from God's point of view if we are to consider him an omnipotent entity.

don't you mean omniscient? human brains could, potentially, be an enigma to an omnipotent being.

it may or may not be logically possible for an omniscient being to actually exist. logic may or may not actually matter.

meh. If god is omnipotent and omnipotence is logically impossible that leaves you with two options:
1. God is impossible
2. God doesn't care about logic
Either way there's no point reasoning about it.

Now shut up the lot of you

How does omnipotence go against logic?

I find that infinite power encompasses the ability to know all. As far as I'm concerned, being omnipotent implies having omniscience. Either way, God is supposedly both anyway, whether one is inclusive of the or not. It doesn't change my argument.

Perhaps we are but God's reality show and he doesn't want to invest the effort to write our lines for us (plus that would ruin the suspense).

I don't think omnipotence logically necessitates omniscience, but that could be debated.
The bible never does use the 'o' word, it just talks about how powerful God is.

omnipotence has other fun paradoxes, like, "can God create a stone so heavy even He could not lift it?"

Even given they would feel all ranges of human emotions, it occupies time nicely to watch something you set in motion unfold.

maybe thats why he made billions of people...so he could watch what he made unfold. even if you know the outcome, sometimes its nice to see how they got there. people still read hamlet, even though they know how it ends.

Exactly, all I'm asking is what if the Earth is just the Jerry Springer Show of creation?

No we're just the icing on the cake, the precocious disturbing world-shaping explosion-loving icing.

But he doesn't only know the end, he knows how we will get there too!
