I COMMAND YOU TO RISE FORM YOUR GRAVE!
I've only picked up a very few comics since this thread died. Here are a couple that stuck with me:
NERF NOW! A gamer comic with extremely little dialogue. Also I secretly suspect that it is written and drawn by a girl.
Darths and Droids: what it would be like if Star Wars was actually an RP somebody made up. The movies actually make much more sense this way.
I've also dropped a few comics, either from their lack of updating or my lack of interest. Notably, Dresden Codak is dead to me now. DEAD!2 Hopefully Crap I Drew on My Lunch Break will be coming back, though. Sooner than Jesus, even!
I wonder if there are some comics mentioned in here that the rest of you have dropped? ESPECIALLY COMICS NAMED DOMINIC DEEGAN.
*In order to make up for necroing this thread, I went back and read every single page of it before posting. I feel I have paid my debt to society.

Since this is necro'd, Daisy Owl is amazing. For example:

Dominic Deegan
ElGoonish Shive
College Roomies from Hell
General Protection Fault
Girl Genius
Penny and Aggie
Something Positive (isn't always on my list. Sometimes I can't handle it everyday. Then I wait for a couple months and catch up all at once. Same with Questionable Content.)
Least I Could Do
Punch an' Pie (Same author as Queen of Wands, same artist as Striptease)
Striptease
Sinfest
Sabrina-Online (okay, I generally check it once a year)
There are a couple that others have mentioned that I have read once and then lost so thanks people! |
Let's see. Some additions:
Buck Godot (by authors of Girl Genius - it is on an AMAZING arc right now)
Gunnerkrigg Court (ya'll were right, it is fucking amazing!)
Sorcery 101 (actually I drop this one fairly often and then get bored and catch up)
The Dreamland Chronicles (pretty but only so so I think)
Wapsi Square (It is good that it is short because I get really irritated with it often but it is back on to crazy demon/mystic stuff so it is better)
Clan of the Cats (updates once in a blue moon)
5ideways (updates like never but it is mindbending. I wouldn't call it good though - it is just still in my bookmarks list)
Angels2200 (the recent art is really pretty but the early stuff is pretty bad and there is a lot of girl focused emo but some of it is really cool)
I will check Zap in Space once every couple months. I found this neat webcomic a while back but apparently I didn't bookmark it. If I find it again, I will totally share. It was quite beautiful. _________________ Before God created Las he pondered on all the aspects a woman might have, he considered which ones would look good super-inflated and which ones to leave alone.

I'm also thrilled to see that Dresden Kodak is still drawing his female characters without too many clothes on. _________________ attitude of a street punk, only cutting selected words out of context to get onself excuse to let one's dirty mouth loose |

Perry Bible Fellowship and XKCD when I think of it.
I used to read Hate Song, but he was taking an extended break, so I deleted the link.
I also used to read Penny Arcade, but it was getting really really impenetrable so I gave up.
I read Queen of Wands when it was running; I keep meaning to read the sequel.
I also read about 40 newspaper strips via the web.
sorry for no links, there's too many. I suggest everyone who likes British sci-fi humor shos like Red Dwarf go check out Vexxarr! tho. |
I dropped:
Namir Deiter, because it got really, really lame
Bob and George, because I tired of the reruns
Funny Farm & Minus. because they ended
You'll Have That, because I got bored with it
I added:
Little Dee
Misery Loves Sherman (kinda dumb, but I like the cartoonist)
Octopus Pie
Punch N Pie (sequel to Queen of Wands)
We The Robots
XKCD
Kukuburi
Butternut Squash
Something Happens
I've got about 8 strips I mean to check over when I have the time, too _________________ 88 NPH |

Daily (interpreted to mean "every time it updates"): P-A, Sinfest, XKCD, Shortpacked!
About once a month: Bear & Kitten, Wigu (et. al.), Lucid TV, Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal, PhD.
When I remember: Order of the Stick, Erfworld
Comics I have abandoned due to their repeat lack of quality: Questionable Content, Dresden Codak |

Sinfest is the only one I read everyday.
sometimes I check looking for group and comics from Bleedman/Snafu (ppgd and the grim tales from down below. But I've got the feeling that guy only updates his comic when he feels like it.)
sometimes VG cats, ow and don't forget Garfield!
and, wtf @ Snorri reading Fokke and Sukke! Their awesome (and dutch ). _________________ I just posted the most epic crap ever! |

yeah, I can't figure out why Dresden Codak is so popular. I can't get into it. _________________ 88 NPH |
