I think Willem used the greasemonkey add-on for firefox to block users completely. I'm not sure how it works exactly.

Related question,is there any way to block all images posted by one user ?

one thing you can do (in firefox) is to set all images not to load, and then just show the ones you want.

that is a bit less convenient, though.

images can be a bother for various reasons .. personal judgement or even the connection speed Neutral

sure; there are all manner of ways to go about shunning, blocking or otherwise censoring input of individuals or even groups but it seems to me a slippery slope sometimes. heck, i'd like a general two-way toggle for signatures (rather than the one-way for just your own that's the norm now)

What this forum needs is a sage button. It allows you to reply to a thread without bumping it, which would allow people to comment in those threads which are so horrible without bringing them up to the top of a page. However, it works better on imageboards, which have a reply limit on their threads after which the thread stops bumping. Saging ups the reply number without bumping, allowing bad threads to be 'saged' from the board.
