You have a 7-inch scar from getting your bottle tapped? What did she do, knife you with it after it broke? I've had the bottoms of bottles blow out, and rarely the neck break, but I've never had shrapnel or anything. What the hell kind of game were you playing? _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. The bottom of her bottle broke the neck off mine and as this was unexpected and done with considerable force, her bottle continued to descend, forcing the jagged glass from my bottle into my forearm. I say 'the neck of the bottle' but it was really more like the upper third of the bottle.
the game was edward 40-hands: awkward, dangerous, quickly inebriating, and a hell of a lot of fun as long as you are under 25 or so. The mornings after were just too rough once I got much older than that. _________________ Formerly Green_Finn

I never drank 40s, but I guess they're probably in thinner bottles than regular beer. The only drinking games we played were card-based, like sociables, which I liked because "Sociable!" is what you yell out in Atlantic Canadian pubs when the band asks you how you're feeling. Also because the longer the game went the harder it was for anyone to remember the rules. _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. I had tequila with vanilla coke tonight... it was weird. Someone described it as "peppery," and I was digging that, but then I looked online and a website called that mixture an "ashtray." That also kind of fits. _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. Yeah, I'm with Pint on this one, that doesn't sound like a drink I'd appreciate. _________________ Samsally the Gray |

Drank the 2012 La Folie sour brown. Damn I love sour beer.
Following it up with something completely different: pumpkin spice cream liquor. _________________ Before God created Las he pondered on all the aspects a woman might have, he considered which ones would look good super-inflated and which ones to leave alone.

I don't have any of the 18, but I've got a bottle of 12-year-old Glenlivet, so I'm going to join you. Happy birthday! Cheers! Or, as they say in Nova Scotia, sociable! _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. Hey, I'd share but suit yourself. And "sociable" is a fantastic toast! _________________ I come from Downtown, born ready for you / Armed with skill and determination / And grace, too |

It is! And it brings to mind nights spent in Irish-themed taverns with a Maritime band playing and chanting along... good times! _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth.
