Sinfest

Recently I've come to find a large number of forum members have myspace accounts (at least 115 in the Sinfest group). When did this happen? Last time I heard of myspace on Sinfest, everyone hated it, and I was left with the impression that it was more or less considered a place for prepubescent girls pretending to be women and 40 year old men pretending to be 13 year old girls.

I'm confused, I thought this place was too elitist for such a mainstream site.

And who is Oro? It bothers me how close his/her name is to my own.

I hate myspace -- in fact, I have called it the 'teeming newhaven teenie gutterslut shantytown of the internet' -- and I have a myspace account.

The incongruity is inexplicable! It's like pattern self-loathing.

Good to see ya back, Oro. Yes, some of us have myspace accounts but are rarely on them. I joined awhile back cause someone wanted me to look at their page and I needed to join to do so or something.

I guess I'm still holding down the "underground" thing, seeing as I have no myspace.

I'm not a big fan of MySpace anymore. I used to like it. But that doesn't mean I'm any less cool than you sir because I go to a mainstream site.

In fact there are tons of people like you who think they're cool by telling MySpace to fuck off. So are the people that told LiveJournal to fuck off, Facebook to fuck off, and every other site that gets popular, to fuck off. You're really no less mainstream than us.

I think many women started creating myspaces, which led to many men creating one... and so on...

all I know is that I'm gonna resist this trend for as long as I can... I'm still sor of disapointed with orkut...
