i think he means calvin - his level of familiarity with the comic seems on par with his reasoning ability.

Underneath your tough online exterior you like to cuddle with kittens, write poetry and you lay in your bed at night worrying about the poor, poor people of the world.

he does, in fact, write quite lovely poetry. he even addressed some of it to me.

wanna make something of it?

It should have been a look of slight disappointment or a look that says that he's slowly getting it. Not just "O_o". It's not subtle enough.

I enjoy cuddling with kittens actually. Its one of the few things in life that relax me.

cuddling with kittens is always a good thing.

anyone who could look down on cuddling kittens is obviously a person who lacks all sense and sensibility.

When I say hobbes I mean like the fact that he always makes fun of/picks on Calvin, but deep down he really loves him. Like Lil' Evil he tries to be extremly evil, but his love for it shows, thus he is not evil, because he loves, and to be evil, you can not love (I added the extra bit at the end just for secret).

WOW YOU ARE AN ASS.

Maybe I was explaining it for someone else? It's not hard to quote someone and take parts of it off and criticize it, now is it?

Hobbes doesn't pick on Calvin... he just observes Calvin's humanity through the critical eye of another species.

Isn't it also stated (or perhaps just implied) that concepts such as good and evil are moot when it comes to a wild animal?

They are moot when it comes to anyone or anything that isn't constrained by socially constructed rules on deviance.

Maybe hobbes is really a tiger, but no other person can see it? I get what's going on, but the author gives him a voice and we have to acknowledge as a living thing in his books.
