Two years on this is still so fucking beautiful. Almost brings a tear to my eye, quite honestly. So if you want to know what I believe in and what I fight for, it's this. People's power. Solidarity. I know I'm getting all sentimental and stuff, but eh can't be a snarky bastard every day. _________________ A cigarette is the perfect type of a perfect pleasure. Three? Owwww! Also, glad you were healthy enough after that to still make it to class. |

A few years back, or maybe just last year Ded (I am 80% it was him) mentioned Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs, and that he got a present for his girlfriend from that site, I bookmarked it.
This year I was wondering what to get as birthday present for a girl friend(notice the space inbetween), browsing through the bookmarks I came across Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs....
to make the already long story short, I ordered a couple perfumes. And they arrived today. I was so happy when they came, and I can't wait to present it. I already have a little story why I chose the specific perfumes.
Giving gifts is really more exciting they buying stuff for yourself.
As a bonus a few samplers came in the package, might give them to couple of ladies at the party as consolation presents.
Thanks Ded* for introducing me to BPAL.

Tonight for dinner I had homemade mac and cheese, brussel sprouts pan seared with almonds, and hazelnut roasted asparagus. It's been ages since I ate this good at home (cooking for one is no fun). But it was delicious. And I have lunch for tomorrow. _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. My safety razor, soap, and brush showed up today. Didn't have the blade assortment I ordered in stock, so they sent me a bottle of aqua velva as consolation and promised to ship the blades as soon as they got them.
I lathered up, threw a blade into the razor and went at it. No cuts, really close shave. My face now smells and feels amazing. _________________ The Thirties dreamed white marble and slipstream chrome, immortal crystal and burnished bronze, but the rockets on the covers of the Gernsback pulps had fallen on London in the dead of night, screaming. - William Gibson, The Gernsback Continuum |

Teaching yoga three times a week in my free time. Two times a week will be at a local gym and the third time will be to teachers at one of the high schools... Let's see how this goes!
Another pleasure.. Spent an obscene amount of money on new yoga clothes. Finally sprung for good quality clothes. It is crazy how much better these clothes look and feel. I don't think I will buy cheap again. |

GeekBoy made pancakes for breakfast this morning.
The new tech routine we're learning is so cool! I also got advice on how to improve my sculling so I'm not so far underwater doing ballet legs. |

That's going to be my house warming gift to myself I think once I'm settled in.

I think I mentioned this, but my wife just started bikram yoga (sp) and loves it. 5 classes and there is already a noticeable difference in her appearance. And best of all, she likes it and the results. It might seem vain, but she looks at her self in the mirror with joy now. |
