Just remember the main things are consistency and communicating in a way the dog understands. Having a friend who trains dogs will help a lot I imagine, but you're the ones that have to put in all the work. There are few bad dogs, there are mainly poor owners. A tired dog is a good dog. Make her work and you'll all be happy. Very Happy

I taught class yesterday, including showing a few moves I probably shouldn't have (and I knew it was moves that pull as soon as I did them). However, I hurt far less today than I expected!

Smart dogs are a mixed blessing indeed, but definitely more a lot more ++++ in my experience.

My own minor joy is just learning that Ryan North, of Dinosaur Comics, is a writing for the Adventure Time comic.

For quite some time (months?), my coffee grinder has been defective. It's one of those works like a tiny blender, but the tip one of the blades actually came off. While the grinder still worked, it was a lot noisier than before and felt a little unsafe (I'm not sure what that says about me that I continued to use it for months).

Anyway, I ordered a new burr grinder and just used it for the first time this morning. Much quieter, infinitely easier to use, and it helped make two damn fine cups of coffee this morning. I am pleased.

I love coming to this page and seeing the things that make our sinfesters happy. Smile

YAY for new dogs! I have wanted one for awhile, but I am not home enough to make sure it goes out through the day. McBiscuit (my kitty) is just enough for me to handle until I get done with Army, or find a roommate (Not looking so that one will be awhile.)

I gave up coffee a few weeks ago because I was drinking an Iced Americano with an extra shot of espresso daily. Drinking a lot of tea now Smile

Feeling pretty healthy, between that and beginning to eat better/take better care if myself.

I had been struggling to find a place to live within easy distance of my new job because the village the pub is in is quite affluent. After discussing my budget with my employer she volunteered to pay the difference between my budget and any nearby homes. So I went from constant commute & headaches, to £600 wage increase & a nice place TWO MINUTES WALK from my job!
