Apparently I have over a hundred hours saved up of vacation time.
This may explain how burnt out I feel at work... Decided to take next thursday off just cuz. So yay, three day weekend.

I can't imagine how I'm going to be able to function with this degree of pain day in and day out but I'm completely done with narcotics and I'm already feeling better and happier than I have in years.

i really hope better and happier will help deal with the pain.
because happy is definitely the best way to be.

thanks! yeah, it's funny - when it was happening, it was like i wasn't exactly taking it in, it didn't really hit me. i cried on fred when i got him in, but i hardly reacted when she came home. now it's a week later and i'm practically in tears when she comes up and purrs at me because she came so close to not being there ever again.

I completely and utterly understand this. It is okay.
So this new gyno said something very nice - she said that my pain wasn't in my head and that there was something wrong with me physically. I knew this already but it was nice to hear. The pain specialist I went to happened to be her husband and she apparently told him that I was muscular. And since she is a gyno and only examined me one way, I can only imagine she means I am muscular... vaginally muscular. Yeah.
